Students came together at Mervue United for an incredible 5-a-side tournament in support of their fellow ATU Galway student, Liam Davoren. Spearheaded by Liam’s amazing Construction Management classmates, this event was a testament to the power of community at ATU.
With 14 teams battling it out on the pitch, the energy was electric! Skillful plays, hilarious moments, and a whole lot of determination filled the day. It didn’t matter whether you were a seasoned player or a first-time participant – everyone came out to support Liam while having a blast.
This event wasn’t just about football; it was a celebration of Liam’s spirit. Their ongoing GoFundMe campaign is working in tandem with the tournament, and the group are on track to raise a fantastic €2k for Hope4Liam.
